Easter Basket Contest Winners

Hello to everyone!! We wanted to alert you to our two winners for the Easter Basket contest.

Two winners – a boy’s basket winner and a girl’s basket winner – were randomly selected from all of you who either shared an Easter memory/reflection on Facebook or via our web form. YOUR SHARINGS WERE I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E … or, better yet, Incredible to the 50th power!!!

THANK YOU SO KINDLY for stopping in, investing the time, and sharing everything from the funny and zany to the surreal and atypical to the serious and heart-moving. We enjoyed them ALL and more than 2,200 people viewed your comments on Facebook — so your memories and reflections reached a lot of hearts and minds and lives with smiles and joys immeasurable. Again, thank you — we love being connected in meaningful ways with all of you!

And now —- drum roll, please —- our two randomly drawn winners are as follows:

  1. Lindsay Hipp Wicker – Boy’s Basket
  2. Muffy Merritt Fulmer – Girl’s Basket

Congratulations to both of you – and thank you to ALL of you! We’ll do something like this again in the future. HAPPY EASTER to all!!! And here are a few good verses from Mark 16 (verses 5-7) that frame Easter succinctly:

And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.

But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. But go, tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.”
