Kim mainly works on referrals for our patients but you will also see her from time to time at the front desk. Kim grew up in Chapin, South Carolina. She and her husband Jonathan have a one year old son together, Parker. We are so thankful for Kim and all she does at Chapin Pediatrics.

Question: How early did you sense you wanted to pursue this career – and what compelled you toward/into it?
Answer: My mom was diagnosed in 2005 with breast cancer. Taking her to her weekly chemo appointments made me realize healthcare is what I wanted to do. It’s a rewarding feeling knowing you an make a positive impact on someone’s life.
Question: Any accomplishments that leave you with a healthy sense of pride?
Answer: My little blue-eyed, blonde hair baby boy has definitely been my biggest accomplishment – he leaves me beaming with pride daily.
Question: Any funny on-the-job recollection?
Answer: Not on the job – but my first interview at Chapin Pediatrics, they thought I was there for a prenatal visit. Apparently they had a prenatal scheduled same time as my interview – her name was Kim too.
Question: Kids or siblings – and special thoughts or reflections of any of them?
Answer: I have an older sister that I’ve always looked up to. Now that I’m a mom, she’s one of the first people I turn to for advice and guidance.
Question: Any favorite sports teams or personalities? Musicians or bands/groups?
Answer: Go Gamecocks! Love old country music, Zach Williams
