Time is surely flying by. I have been blessed to be able to serve this community for the past seventeen years. The little babies I held on their first days of life are now seniors in high school.

In this season of Thanksgiving I have paused to reflect on things that I am thankful for.

I am thankful for my family who has provided unwavering support from the very beginning as I dreamed and planned and finally opened the doors on August 1, 2005 to begin serving you. I am thankful for this community that has supported me and trusted me with the care of its children. I am thankful that Chapin Pediatrics has been able to expand to meet the needs of a growing community. Dr. Shealy, Jay, Dr. Bolen, and Julie are amazing providers to work alongside to deliver excellent healthcare. Erin and Lindsey do a tremendous job managing the day in and out tasks and have led us in adapting to the ever changing world of healthcare. Our team of front office staff and clinical staff do an incredible job of serving our patients and their families. I am also thankful for all of the staff that have come and gone and helped shape Chapin Pediatrics into what it is today.

Although we strive to grow and adapt, our mission and vision will continue to be the foundation that we rest upon.

Mission:

To provide excellent pediatric health care guided by the Christian values of compassion, integrity, and service.

Vision:

To offer exemplary pediatric health care in an environment that encourages parents to “train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)

I would also like to thank you for the privilege of being able to serve you and your children. May the Lord continue to watch over us and allow us to faithfully serve Him. Praying for you to have a meaningful holiday season.

Happy Thanksgiving!
