My heart is full of thankfulness for so many reasons. Yes, I continue to struggle with the death of my daddy. I stress over how the practice has been negatively affected by COVID. Parenting is difficult. We all have a list of thoughts, emotions, and things we have to deal with that we wish we did not.
But, I am thankful. I find myself in the midst of so many seemingly negative things yet can rest in God’s promises.

“Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever” Psalm 106

There are many things to be thankful for. My desire in this post is to say thank you to the mamas and daddies for trusting Chapin Pediatrics with the care of your children. For 15 years God has allowed us to serve this community. I am thankful for the lives we have touched. I am thankful for you trying your best to train up your children in the way they should go. It is hard for me to believe it has been 15 years. The little babies I once held in the newborn nursery are now young men and ladies.

Thankful? Yes, I am thankful. Not because things are easy or because everything is okay. I’m thankful because in all of this God is good and worthy of my thanksgiving.
