How were you kind today?

We also are big on kindness. Every day when I drop kids off at school, I encourage them to work hard and be kind to someone. Then every night when we put them to bed, we ask them 4 questions, one of which is “How were you kind today?”

Ephesians 4:32
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

Charlie and Cayci Banks are from Newberry, South Carolina, and have four kiddos: Lucas (11), McLane (7), and twins Annie and Mary Georgia (4). Charlie owns VentureSouth an early stage investment firm and Cayci is Vice President for 1000 Feathers, a national consulting firm that focuses on nonprofits and foundations. They are members of Chapin United Methodist Church in Chapin, South Carolina.
