[vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Train up a child in the way he should go” font_container=”tag:h1|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_single_image source=”featured_image” img_size=”large” alignment=”center” css_animation=”fadeIn”][vc_column_text]We recently invited a handful of people from all around our community to pen and offer their thoughts regarding the theme of “Train Up a Child” … and these first insightful thoughts come from our dear friend Mary Higginbotham! Enjoy.
One verse I find encouraging is:
“-that we love one another. And this is love, that we walk according to his commandments; this is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, so that you should walk in it.”
2 John 1:5b-6 ESV
It reminds me that obedience to God is loving others (all others), and showing that love first, even if I’m frustrated, tired, angry, etc. Happy New Year to you and your family!
